         Der Landkreis Gifhorn beschafft zwei identische Erkundungsfahrzeuge für biologische und chemische Gefahrenstoffe (CB-Erkunder), die jeweils die im Folgenden beschriebenen Anforderungen erfüllen.

         Die Fahrzeuge dienen zum Transport von Personal und Gerät sowie zum Erkennen, Messen, Spüren und Melden biologischer und chemischer Stoffe. Zudem soll die Entnahme von Luftproben durchgeführt werden.

         Mit dem Fahrzeug muss es weiterhin möglich sein, die Bevölkerung zu warnen.

         Jedes Fahrzeug wird durch eine Besatzung von 6 Personen (1:5 – Staffel) betrieben und dient gleichzeitig zum Transport dieser. Es ist deshalb für jede Person ein entsprechender Sitzplatz sowie die dazugehörige Sicherheitsbegurtung vorzusehen.

         Zur Sicherstellung der Betriebsbereitschaft ist auf eine wartungsfreundliche Ausführung besonders zu achten. Die Planung, Auswahl der Bauteile und Materialien sowie die gesamte Ausführung ist darauf auszurichten.
