        Implementation of a new time distribution system with a more precise timingsynchronization within TenneTs grid in Germany. The aim of the tender is to implement acomplete functional (Network) management system incl. respective hardware like ePRTCClocks, Atomic Caesium Clocks etc. within currently existing network. In parallel the system shall be as much independent as possible from outside. Furthermore, services will benecessary during subsequent operation. The installation is demand-driven and will therefore take time between 10 to 20 years depending on renovation of substations. The project willstart with an initial project phase with prior PoC. Therefore the aim is to sign a framework-and service agreement with prior PoC to equip clearly defined locations with clocks/timedistribution.

        Scope:

        The aim of this tender for Time Distribution is to sign a Framework and Service Agreementas well as an initial Project Agreement with prior PoC to equip clearly defined locations withclocks/time distribution. Basically, the following components and services are required

        1. Components

        - Compact modular GNSS/PTP grandmaster

        - PTP slave clock

        2. Implementation related services

        - Product-supplementary services (assembly, dismanting, installation, commissioning,consulting etc.)

        - Maintenance

        3. Maintenance related services after implementation

        The installation is demand-driven and will therefore take time between 10 to 20 yearsdepending on renovation of substations. It will be a gradual implementation of allsubstations within TenneTs grid in Germany.

        Estimated volume: 5 Mio EUR.

        On site clock equipment installation services under the most strict safety, health andenvironment regulations available in the industry.

        Configuration of Ribbon MPLS communication network services/equipment for providingPTP via the network in the utility and public safety market

        Supply, installation and configuration of a clock management/support system in the utilityand public safety market.At least one relevant reference project has to prove this corecompetence in the suitability requirement section.
