VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Änderungen eines Auftrags über Leistungen der Impfstofflagerlogistik für die Lagerung von COVID-19 Impfstoff.

Geändert werden zum einen die vertraglich vorgesehenen Grund- und Zusatzkapazitäten für die Lagerung. Die

bisher vereinbarte Grundlagerkapazität für 130 Mio. Impfstoffdosen reduziert sich auf 80 Mio. Impfstoffdosen.

Gleichzeitig erhöht sich die bisher vorgesehene zusätzliche Lagerkapazität in entsprechendem Umfang,

also von bislang 40 Mio. Impfstoffdosen auf nunmehr 90 Mio. Impfstoffdosen. Der Gesamtumfang der durch

den vergebenen Auftrag auf Abruf abzudeckenden Lagerkapazität für 170 Mio. Impfstoffdosen bleibt mithin

unverändert.

Zum anderen wird das ursprünglich angebotene Kühlkonzept geändert. Anstelle der bislang vorgesehenen

Kühlcontainer werden nunmehr ausschließlich Ultratiefkühlschränke eingesetzt und der Preis insoweit

angepasst.

Die Umstände, welche diese Änderungen erforderlich machen, waren für den Auftraggeber im Rahmen seiner

Sorgfaltspflicht nicht vorhersehbar. Der Gesamtcharakter des Auftrags ändert sich nicht. Der Preis wird um nicht

mehr als 50 % des ursprünglichen Auftragswerts erhöht.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee (Art. 43(1)(c) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(c) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Die erforderliche Reduktion der Grundkapazität beruht auf einer erst nach Vertragsschluss auf EU-Ebene festgelegte Anpassung der Impfstoffkontrakte, die der Auftraggeber im Rahmen seiner Sorgfaltspflicht nicht vorhersehen konnte.Die Änderung des vereinbarten Kühlkonzepts mit dadurch bedingter Preisanpassung wurde aufgrund technischer Probleme des Einsatzes von Tiefkühlcontainern erforderlich, die der Auftraggeberim Rahmen seiner Sorgfaltspflicht nicht vorhersehen konnte.Die vorgesehenen Änderungen lassen den Gesamtcharakter des Auftrags unverändert. Der Preis wird um nichtmehr als 50 % des Wertes des ursprünglichen Auftrags erhöht werden.
