         Das System muss die folgenden Hauptkomponenten beinhalten:

         A. High-power VIS - MIR Laser System, das mit einer Wiederholungsrate von 100 kHz arbeitet. Es muss ein Laserverstärker, nichtlineare Pulskompressoren, Wellenlängenkonversionseinheiten, einschließlich OPA, DFG und HHG für die EUV-Erzeugung, beinhaltet sein. Für die geplante Erzeugung von einzelnen Attosekunden werden CEP-stabile Laserpulse benötigt, die Pulsdauern von etwa zwei Lichtzyklen aufweisen. Das System muss mit Messwerkzeugen zur Charakterisierung von Laserpulsen ausgestattet sein, die es erlauben, spektrale Amplitude als auch Phase solch kurzer Lichtimpulse zu bestimmen.

         B. Time-of-flight ARPES Impulsmikroskop mit UHV-System mit Einkopplung von EUV- sowie THz-, MIR-, NIR- and VIS-Strahlung, einer EUV Quelle und einer Vakuumplattform für die Entwicklung einer EUV-Beamline mit hoher Repetitionsrate für Einzel-Attosekundenpulse.

         C. Optischer Tisch zur Aufnahme des gesamten Messplatzes. Der Tisch muss streng definierten Spezifikationen hinsichtlich der Stabilität entsprechen.
