Der Damm befindet sich an der zweigleisigen, elektrifizierten, freien Strecke 5850 Nürnberg-Regensburg zwischen km 52,60 und 52,73 in der Nähe von Deining. Es besteht hohe Verkehrslast auf der international wichtigen Streckenverbindung.

Aufgrund des schlechten Zustands des Bahndammes und kontinuierlicher Verformungen ist die Sanierung des ca. 37 m hohen, 1872 errichteten Dammbauwerks dringend erforderlich. Hierfür ist aus dem Variantenentscheid der Vorplanung als zweckmäßige Lösung die Vernagelung des Dammes, eine Wiederherstellung des Regeloberbaus mit abdichtenden Maßnahmen sowie evtl. einer Verdübelung des Dammfußes vorgesehen.

Nicht ausgeschriebene Leistung, die bei der Ausschreibung nicht bekannt war. Aufgrund der unklaren Aufgabenstellung

wurde erst im Zuge der VP festgestellt, dass für die Sicherung des Deininger Damms zwei unternehmensinterne

Genehmigungenn benötigt werden. Eine Aufteilung der Planung ist aufgrund der ständig wiederkehrenden Schnittstellen nicht

möglich, da dies zu Zeitverzögerungen und somit erheblichen Méhrkosten führen würde.
