Im Zuge des Projektes Digitaler Knoten Stuttgart wird die Leit- und Sicherungstechnik für den Eisenbahnknoten Stuttgart sowohl im Bestand wie auch im Neubaubereich auf digitale Stellwerkstechnik mit ETCS L2 modernisiert. Für den Betrieb der digitalen Stellwerkstechnik sind ein Technikstandort (TSO) sowie ein Bedienstandort (BSO) vonnöten, der sich nach der Betriebssteuerstrategie (BSS) der DB Netz im Großraum Stuttgart befinden soll. Als Baufeld für das neue Gebäude wurde eine Fläche südöstlich des Bahnhofs Waiblingen an der Strecke 4710 gewählt.

Die Ausschreibung umfasst im Wesentlichen folgende Leistungen:

Gebäudekubatur 54 m x 20 m, h ca. 20m (EG, 1.OG, 2.OG)

 Erd- und Tiefbau (Aushub, Verbau und Bohrpfahlwand)

 Rohbauarbeiten in Ortbeton und Fertigteilen

 Dach und Fassadenarbeiten

 Innenausbau

 Technische Gebäudeausrüstung (Heizung, Lüftung, Sanitär, Klima, Gebäudeautomation, Brandlöschanlage, Einbruchsmeldeanlagen und Videoanlage)

 Außenanlagen (Grün- und Parkflächen, Sicherheitszaun)

Die Geltendmachung der Unwirksamkeit einer Auftragsvergabe in einem Nachprüfungsverfahren ist fristgebunden. Es wird auf die in § 135 Abs. 2 GWB genannten Fristen verwiesen.
