         Es soll für das Power-Hardware-in-the-Loop Labor des Lehrstuhls eine Erweiterung der bestehenden Leistungsverstärker für Untersuchungen im höheren Frequenzbereich erfolgen.

         Aktuell sind hierfür bereits Spitzenberger & Spies Verstärker im Labor im Einsatz, die über Lichtwellenleiter und das Aurora Protokoll mit Echtzeitsimulatoren von RTDS und OPAL-RT gekoppelt werden können. Ein modularer Aufbau der neuen Verstärker sowie die Interoperabilität mit RTDS, OPAL, Spitzenberger&Spies sowie optional einem ebenfalls vorhandenen Speedgoat Simulator sind hierbei wichtiger als hohe Leistungsklassen. Aufgrund der Anforderungen an die Modularität sollen 6 einphasige Verstärker angeschaft werden, die im Normalfall als zwei dreiphasige Einheiten betrieben werden. Die Einheiten sollen sich möglichst modular miteinander verschalten lassen und auch zuzsammen als ein leistungsstarker dreiphasiger Verstärker betreiben lassen.
