      4. Description of the procurement:
         

         Die KV-Nordrhein betreibt einen komplexen Verbund aus IT-Hardware, Software und Middleware, um ihren Zielen sowie dem öffentlichen Auftrag gerecht zu werden.

         Störungen der IT-Umgebung bedeuten immer eine Behinderung des KV Nordrhein-Betriebs und damit eine Gefährdung der Wahrnehmung und Erfüllung der übertragenen Aufgaben.

         Die KV Nordrhein verfolgt die Strategie, eine homogene IT-Umgebung zu betreiben, um technische Unvereinbarkeiten bzw. unverhältnismäßige technische Schwierigkeiten beim Gebrauch und der Wartung, sowie Schnittstellen- und Kompatibilitätsprobleme auszuschließen und mögliche Risiken zu minimieren.

         Um die Backup-Infrastruktur bei der KV Nordrhein zu erweitern und zu modernisieren, ist es erforderlich, dass diese den Spezifikationen und Kompatibilitäten der bereits eingesetzten Umgebung entsprechen. Die Homogenität der Backup-Infrastruktur durch Produkte des Herstellers Veritas soll hierbei erhalten bleiben.

         Dienstleistung:

         Die ausgeschriebene Netbackup Appliance ist durch den Bieter in ein bestehendes Rack der KVNO am Standort Düsseldorf zu verbauen.

         Die Appliance muss betriebsfertig übergeben werden. Das heißt:

         - Installation in ein bestehendes Rack im Rechenzentrum des Auftraggebers

         - Anbindung an das LAN des Auftraggebers

         - Grundinstallation und Konfiguration des Appliance OS

         Die Integration der Systeme in die bestehende Backup-Umgebung wird durch den Auftraggeber eigenständig umgesetzt.
