VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Durch den anhaltenden Ukraine-Kriegs und die weiterhin bestehenden Probleme des globalen Energiemarktes, wird der Stromvertrag innerhalb der letzten anstehenden vertragsgemäßen Verlängerungsoption (01.01.2024 bis 31.12.2024) für das Lieferjahr 2024 verlängert und die Handlingskostenpauschale CFix/Preisindex der derzeitigen Marktsondersituation angepasst. Die Auftragsänderung wird unter der Einhaltung des §132 Abs. (2) GWB durchgeführt

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Zum Zeitpunkt der ursprünglichen Auftragsvergabe, konnte der Auftraggeber die derzeitige Marktsondersituation durch den Ukraine-Krieg und deren Auswirkungen am weltweiten Energiemarkt nicht vorhersehen.
