Die Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Charitéplatz 1 in 10117 Berlin, veröffentlicht dieses EU-Markterkundungsverfahren, mittels dessen festgestellt werden soll, ob es für die Lieferung von linksventrikulären implantierbaren Herzunterstützungssystemen (LVAD) mehr als einen Anbieter gibt.

Mit diesem EU-Markterkundungsverfahren erfolgt kein formelles Vergabeverfahren. Der Charité ist aktuell als einzig verbliebenes und zugelassenes LVAD-System nur das HeartMate 3 der Firma Abbott Medical GmbH, Helfmann Park 7, 65760 Eschborn, bekannt. Das Ziel der Markterkundung ist festzustellen, ob es mehr als diesen der Charité bekannten Anbieter gibt.
