         Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung ist das Hosting, die Pflege und die Aktualisierung der AskREACH IT Tools, um ihren Betrieb zu gewährleisten, sie technisch auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten und an neue Anforderungen anzupassen. Darüber hinaus soll eine Anzahl von Personentagen als Reserve für optionale Aufgaben eingeplant werden, z.B. für die Integration neuer AskREACH-Partner oder die Anbindung der Apps an die SCIP-Datenbank der Europäischen Chemikalienagentur ECHA. Die Reserve soll nur im Bedarfsfall und auf Anfrage des UBA genutzt werden.

         Für den Auftraggeber besteht die Möglichkeit diesen Vertrag optional zweimalig um je-weils 12 Monate zu den bestehenden Bedingungen zu verlängern. Bei dieser Option han-delt es sich um ein einseitiges Gestaltungsrecht des Auftraggebers. Der Auftragnehmer hat keinen Anspruch auf die Wahrnehmung der Option. Sofern der Auftraggeber die Opti-on nutzen möchte, teilt er dies dem Auftragnehmer bis spätestens drei Monate vor Ablauf der ursprünglichen Laufzeit mit. Im Falle der Wahrnehmung der Option gelten die im An-gebot vom genannten Preise für den jeweiligen Optionszeitraum. Der Vertrag en-det spätestens 4 Jahren nach Zuschlagserteilung, ohne dass es einer gesonderten Kündi-gung bedarf.
