RFI - RER A - RVB Branche EST

Les voies sur plateforme ballast des branches du RER Ligne A ont été mises en service entre les années 1970 et 1990. Ces voies ont été conçues pour un tonnage journalier et des sollicitations mécaniques qui ont fortement évolué à la hausse durant plus de 50 ans d’exploitation. L"arrivée du matériel roulant « MI09 » sur le RER A ces dernières années a par ailleurs augmenté de manière significative les sollicitations sur les voies. Ces voies connaissent aujourd’hui plusieurs désordres qui sont susceptibles de dégrader, à terme, les conditions de sécurité ferroviaire ou la disponibilité des voies.

Il a été identifié la nécessité de programmer la réalisation de ces travaux afin de maintenir le parc en bon état, de maîtriser la durée de vie de la voie, de palier à une éventuelle augmentation du nombre de défauts de géométrie et ainsi garder un niveau « maîtrisé » de maintenance.

Après les travaux historiques de RVB du tronçon central du RER Ligne A qui se sont déroulés de 2015 à 2021, l’Unité Voie du département RATP Infrastructures a engagé une analyse des branches du RER afin d’identifier les opérations de maintenance patrimoniale qu’il est nécessaire de mener.

Cette analyse porte sur les activités de renouvellement des voies, en intégrant les appareils de dilation et les appareils de voie des zones concernées. Elle a pour objectif d’identifier les infrastructures dont le renouvellement ne peut se faire dans le cadre du programme annuel de maintenance patrimoniale.

Les linéaires conséquents à traiter, les typologies de travaux et les moyens organisationnels associés au renouvellement de ces infrastructures nécessitent d’être traités dans le cadre d’un projet spécifique.

The ballasted platform tracks on the branches of RER Line A were commissioned between 1970 and 1990. These tracks were designed for a daily tonnage and mechanical stresses that have increased significantly over more than 50 years of operation. The arrival of "MI09" rolling stock on RER A in recent years has also significantly increased the stress on the tracks. These tracks are currently experiencing a number of disorders that are likely to degrade rail safety conditions or track availability in the long term.

It has been identified that these works need to be scheduled in order to maintain the fleet in good condition, control the track"s lifespan, offset a possible increase in the number of geometry defects and thus keep the level of maintenance "under control".

Following the historic work to renew the track and ballast, dilatation devices and switches and crossings (RVB) on the central section of RER Line A between 2015 and 2021, the RATP Infrastructures department"s Track Unit has undertaken an analysis of the RER"s branches in order to identify the heritage maintenance operations that need to be carried out.

This analysis covers track renewal activities, including the switches and crossings in the areas concerned. The aim is to identify infrastructure that cannot be renewed as part of the annual heritage maintenance programme.

The significant lengths of track to be treated, the types of work and the organisational resources associated with renewing these infrastructures need to be dealt with as part of a specific project.

Les zones concernées par le projet portent sur l’intégralité des voies sur pose ballast (avec un âge actuel > 25 ans) sur les branches du RER A côté Est :

- RER A branche Vincennes - Marne La Vallée – Chessy,

- RER A branche Vincennes - Boissy-Saint-Léger,

- RER A zone du tronçon central autour de la gare de Vincennes (raccord avec la fin du chantier de RVB tronçon central 2015-2021).

Elles représentent, en cumulé, 80km de voie simple sur pose ballast.

Les zones concernées intègrent également le renouvellement de l’ensemble des appareils de dilatation et 44 appareils de voie.

The areas concerned by the project include all the ballast laid tracks (with a current age of > 25 years) on the east-side branches of RER A:

- RER A Vincennes - Marne La Vallée - Chessy branch,

- RER A Vincennes - Boissy-Saint-Léger branch,

- RER A central section around Vincennes station (to be connected with the completion of the RVB central section 2015-2021).

They represent a total of 80km of ballasted single track.

The areas concerned also include the renewal of all the dilatation switches and 44 turnouts.
