VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Suunnittelutyön edetessä on ilmennyt, että hyväksytyn yleissuunnitelman ratkaisuja joudutaan tarkistamaan ja täydentämään mahdollisimman toimivan, kustannustehokkaan ja toteuttamiskelpoisen lopputuloksen varmistamiseksi. Yleissuunnitelmasta on jouduttu poikkeamaan esimerkiksi erikoiskuljetusreitistön muutosten, siltojen muutosten sekä vesihuollon suunnittelutarpeiden laajennusten takia.

Em. tekijät johtavat lisätyötarjouksissa tarkemmin eristeltyihin työsuorituksiin, jotka tilaaja on katsonu välttämättömiksi ja tarkoituksenmukaisiksi tilata ko. suunnitteluhanketta tekevältä konsulttiryhmittymältä teknisistä ja taloudellisista syistä.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Alkuperäisen sopimuskumppanin on tarpeen suorittaa lisätöitä, jotka eivät sisältyneet alkuperäiseen sopimukseen "Vantaan ratikka - katu- ja alustava rakennussuunnittelu: Lentoasema - Tikkurila". Muutosten tarve johtuu olosuhteista, joita hankintayksikkö ei ole voinut ennakoida eikä muutos vaikuta hankintasopimuksen yleiseen luonteeseen. Sopimuskumppanin vaihtaminen ei ole mahdollista taloudellisista ja teknisistä syistä, ja se aiheuttaisi merkittävää haittaa ja kustannusten merkittävää päällekkäisyyttä hankintayksikölle.
