         Hankinnan kohteena ovat yleisten kirjastojen kirjastokäyttöön tarkoitetut ja soveltuvat

         aineistohankinnat seuraavasti:

         - kotimainen yleinen kirjallisuus

         - äänikirjat

         - ulkomainen kirjallisuus - kaikki kielet, sisältäen äänikirjat

         - musiikkiäänitteet - kotimaiset ja ulkomaiset

         - muut aineistot - kuvatallenteet, tietokone- ja konsolipelit, tunnusteluaineistot,

         lautapelit, kartat, nuotit

         - edellä lueteltuihin aineistoihin liittyvät palvelut.

         Hankintaan eivät sisälly

         - perusopetuksen ja 2. asteen oppikirjat

         - sanoma- ja aikakauslehdet

         - sähköiset aineistot.

         Hankinnan kohteena on kirjastojen aineistohankinnat sisältäen kotimaisen ja ulkomaisen kirjallisuuden sekä ääni- ja kuvatallenteet, kartat, nuotit ja erilaiset pelit sekä muut vastaavat aineistot; hankintaan sisältyvät myös edellä lueteltuihin aineistoihin kiinteästi liittyvät palvelut.

         Kyseessä on puitejärjestely, johon valitaan enintään seitsemän (7) toimittajaa.

         Hankinnan arvioitu arvo on sitoumuksetta noin 2 000 000 euroa / vuosi. Arvioitu vuosiarvo perustuu tilaajien ilmoittamiin aiemmin toteutuneisiin vastaaviin hankintoihin.

         Tilaaja eivät sitoudu tiettyyn hankintamäärään tai -arvoon, koska aineistoja on mahdollista hankkia vain vuosittain erikseen myönnettävien määrärahojen puitteissa.
