         Tämän hankinnan kohteena ovat ammattikeittiöiden ja vähittäiskaupan elintarvikkeet sekä vähäisessä määrin ammattikeittiöiden toimintaa tukevat non-food -tuotteet, kuten keittiön tarvitsemat kattaus- ja ruoanvalmistustarvikkeet. Lisäksi hankinnan kohteena ovat edellä mainittujen tuotteiden tilaamiseen ja käyttämiseen liittyvät palvelut, kuten logistiikkapalvelut ja muut tukipalvelut.

         Asiakkaille, joiden toimipaikat jakautuvat maanlaajuisesti, tulee olla tuotteiden hankintaan yksi kanava. Tavarantoimitusten tulee tapahtua tehokkaasti, toimitusvarmasti sekä kustannustehokkaasti.
