1. The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt has received funds from the Agence Française de Développement (the French Development Agency) towards the cost of the
Universite Francaise d’Egypt (UFE) Refoundation Project (CEG 1096). It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under
the multiple contracts for the Procurement of Goods (Scientific Laboratory Equipment & Workshop Machines).
2. Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding documents. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one
contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Bid Submission Form.
3. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) represented by the Implementing Agency the Université Francaise d’Egypte (UFE) now invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Scientific Laboratory Equipment & Workshop Machines. (“the Goods”).
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of New Campus Department at The Université Française
