• The Republic of Croatia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Earthquake Recovery and Public Health Preparedness Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Reconstruction Works for Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb - Rebro Phase III.
• The Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets intends to prequalify contractors for Contract ref. no. MoPPCSA/ER&PHPP/C1.2.2/W-PQ for execution of Reconstruction Works for Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb - Rebro Phase III. The reconstruction works includes the extension of the hospital building “Phase III” (planned total gross area is approximately 34.790 m2) with various hospital facilities and the construction of a supporting structure - an open above-ground garage (planned total gross area is approximately 31.406 m2), and the reconstruction of part of the road and pedestrian surfaces in the western part of the hospital complex. All Works are to be executed on the location of the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb, Kišpatieva ulica 12, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, cadastral parcel no. 3490/1 and partly on no. 3558; cadastral municipality Maksimir. More details on Reconstruction Works are provided in the Prequalification Document. It is expected that the Request for Bids will be made in October 2023.
• Prequalification will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Applicants as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit 1 at the address below during office hours 0830 to 1630 hours. A complete set of prequalification documents (available only in electronic form) in English language may be obtained free of charge by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the email address below i.e., PIU1@mpgi.hr. The document will be sent to Applicants only by electronic mail.
• Applications for prequalification should be submitted in clearly marked envelopes and delivered to the address below by 14:00 hours on August 30, 2023.
