This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by the Halifax Regional Water Commission (“Halifax Water”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to Halifax Water and provide the information as requested. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information about available technologies and service providers that deliver condition assessment for Trunk Sewers (600 mm or greater) & Outfalls. This initiative is part of the utility’s broader asset management strategy to proactively assess the condition of critical infrastructure and support evidence-based decision-making. We invite interested parties to submit information outlining their capabilities, experience, and proposed technologies for assessing gravity pipes made from various materials, including reinforced concrete, brick, concrete, polyethylene, clay tile, wood, ductile iron, asbestos cement, corrugated metal, segmented block, stone and clay pipe.
