The County of Stettler No. 6, in partnership with the County of Paintearth No. 18, Starland County, the Special Areas Board, and the Province of Alberta, is undertaking a feasibility study and conceptual design to determine a practical and cost-effective path forward for Boehlke’s Pond. Boehlke’s Pond is a provincially owned site that has experienced infrastructure deterioration and has been inactive since 2017.
