The City is seeking a qualified cleaning services contractor capable of delivering high-quality, location-specific cleaning programs that provide strong value for money. The successful
Proponent will demonstrate the ability to align cleaning levels of effort and outcomes with established budgetary parameters while actively managing and adapting services to changing conditions
such as seasonal weather, facility usage, and soil loads.
A key requirement of this contract is proactive program management. The contractor must apply proven methodologies and flexible work strategies to continuously optimize cleaning effectiveness,
shifting effort as needed—for example, prioritizing high-traffic areas and entrances during heavy soil periods and addressing less frequent or detailed tasks during cleaner seasons.
The City places a high value on strong organizational capability, customer service excellence, and a skilled, motivated workforce. Proponents must demonstrate experience delivering services
through engaged management, effective supervision, and well-trained cleaning staff. The City also values contractors that foster positive employment environments and demonstrate a commitment to
recruiting and retaining quality employees through fair compensation, training, accountability, recognition, and opportunities for growth. The City’s objective is to achieve consistent,
high-quality cleaning outcomes that maximize value for public funds. The current two-year contract value is approximately $1,000,000, with anticipated growth following the completion of the
Parkinson Recreation Facility in late 2027.
