Description

Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (the “Authority”) has issued this Request for Proposals (“ RFP”), for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified proponents to undertake the services as Prime Consultant for VGH Jack Bell Research Centre

The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Prime or Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor, and if required geotechnical and environmental consultants and Certified Professional, including working in collaborate with the successful Vendors’ Technical PM and IMITS.

Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, code, acoustic, building envelope and constructability as required.

Only architectural firms prequalified by the Authority for Acute Care Projects greater than $5 million may respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm not already prequalified for the above-mentioned pre-qualification category.

Sub-Consulting firms (including Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil and Geotechnical if required) shall be selected from the Authority’s Pre-qualified Engineers list.

The Authority has arranged a site visit for the benefit of interested Proponents who are preparing Proposals. The date and time of site visit(s) are as noted below:

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 Hours Local Time

All attendees participating in a site visit to an Authority’s facility are required to sign the Authority’s Confidentiality Undertaking for Visitors/Observers form. You will be asked to review and sign the Confidentiality Undertaking (CU) form at the site visit location prior to the start of your tour. Please ensure you arrive a few minutes early to complete this requirement.
