The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to conduct a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reduction and Climate Resiliency Pathways Study (the Study) for 20 facilities in the Regional District. The Study aims to establish organization-wide strategies and funding allocations to achieve emissions targets, optimize energy savings, and meet climate resiliency goals. Using the study’s findings, RDKB can develop a corporate-wide pathway and tailored plans for each facility. The resulting strategy will include detailed energy conservation measures (ECMs) and resiliency measures with associated costs, projected energy savings, GHG reductions and climate risks being addressed.
