Description

Public Health Ontario (PHO) believes that the following procurement qualifies as a sole source or single source procurement. The purpose of this Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to determine if there are other suppliers capable of meeting the requirements of the procurement for the following services for PHO.

Vendor – Illumina Inc.
Services – Outlined in the ACAN
Purpose – Illumina Reagents and Consumables

The Public Health Ontario (PHO) laboratory performs Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of various organisms using Illumina platforms. Reagents and consumables is a requirement to ensure our systems are operational and meet regulatory standards.

PHO believes that Illumina Inc. is the sole provider for regents and consumables for Illumina platforms.

PHO intends to award a one (1) year contract to Illumina Inc. for the goods described in the ACAN attachment.

This request does not constitute a call for tenders.
