Description

The District of North Vancouver (“the District”) invites Submissions from Contractors (“Respondents”) to remove and dispose of dog waste on an “as and when required basis”.

The contractor will be required to pick up the dog waste from a centralized location at Inter River Park located at 1101 Premier Street in North Vancouver. District Parks staff collects full sized garbage bags of dog waste from waste bins throughout the District. District staff then places these bags of dog waste in a C-Can at Inter River Park for pickup.

The contractor is responsible for the pickup of dog waste from the C-Can at Inter River, transport and disposal of dog waste.

There will be a once a week removal of dog waste (currently this occurs every Wednesday).

The amount of material to be removed and disposed of is approximately 15,000 litres per calendar year.
