The City of Kelowna is seeking qualified consultants to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines. The City maintains
significant in house expertise in areas such as civil engineering, project management, and technical services; however, external consultants are engaged to supplement internal capacity and
provide specialized expertise as required.
This Request for Qualifications is intended to establish multiple multi use shortlists of qualified firms with the expertise, capacity, and resources to perform the required work. The
shortlists will be established for the following works areas of specialization, with the preferred number of shortlisted firms indicated in brackets: Linear Utilities and Facilities (Roads,
Water, Sewer, Drainage) (8); Utility Planning and Major Utility Facilities (4); Transportation Planning (4); Transportation Engineering (4); Project Management (4); Solid Waste (Landfill and
Biosolids) (4); Geotechnical and Materials Testing (2); Environmental (3); Parks - Landscape Architecture (4); and Dam Engineering (3). The shortlists will remain valid for a period of three
(3) years, during which no further calls will be issued for inclusion.
