Description

All required supporting documentation and offer submission must be submitted by February 28, 2026 at 14:00 EST. All offers submitted after 14:00 EST will result in the offer being declared non-responsive.

Statistics Canada’s Consumer Prices Division requires detailed and reliable data on the maintenance of light vehicles in Canada to support the development, validation and improvement of methodologies for the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Specifically, the data is required to:
- support the selection of representative products and outlet types for the “Passenger vehicle parts, maintenance and repairs” component of the CPI,
- provide accurate and timely household expenditure estimates and
- maintain the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of CPI basket weights, which must reflect the current expenditure patterns of Canadian households.
