Description

The City of Delta invites bids for the construction of an Interior Universal Accessible Washroom and Interior Upgrades at Ladner Pioneer Library at 4683 51 Street, Delta, B.C. V4K 2V8.

The Work generally consists of:
All works related to building a new, interior universal accessible washroom including:
i. Interior construction (partitions, doors, finishes, fittings)
ii. Electrical (incl. Demolition)
iii. Mechanical (Plumbing, sprinklers & HVAC/ Controls, Demolition)
iv. Existing Building - Selective demolition and Alteration

All works related to the new Reception desk are as follows:
i. Demolition and disposal
ii. Power and data work
iii. Coordination with the desk supplier

General Interior finish works are as follows:
i. Existing carpet removal and installing new carpet
ii. Applying new paint on walls, conduit and caps on the ceiling and library shelves
iii. Existing furniture and shelves removal and/or reinstall

Optional pricing for the following items:
i. Portion of new electrical receptacles and related work
ii. New interior lighting and related work, excluding new Universal WC.
iii. Light bulb/ tube replacement
iv. Emergency lighting, exit signs and related work
