Notice is hereby given that Capital Regional District (the “CRD”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide one (1) Bulk Water Filling Station – Surefill, with add-ons, including a backflow preventer, reduced pressure zone assembly with integrated sensor for flood detection, electric enclosure padlock hasps, 3” MNPT, 2ft extension and an added safety breakaway coupling:

This 5th Bulk Water Filling Station will add to the 4 of the same units currently in operation within the CRD and is compatible with our existing on site Computol ProFuel 2 Software. The Bulk Water Filling Station will be installed in Metchosin, BC with a pre-tax value of $108,118.00.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection including documentation demonstrating that they meet the equipment and software compatibility requirements and criteria set out above. This is to be addressed for the attention of Michael Mulder, Manager, Procurement, by email before 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time, December 22, 2025. CRD will review any information or objection received by this date and assess each objection against the criteria. This assessment will be kept on file. If an objection is justified, a competitive process will be undertaken. For any objections that are rejected, CRD will provide reasons why the objection did not satisfy the needs of CRD in this procurement.
