Description

The Ministry of Education and Childcare is responsible for legislation, policy and programs related to early learning and childcare, including oversight and implementation of the Early Learning and Child Care Act (ELCCA) and Regulation. It also oversees the family day home (FDH) sector, including the licensing and monitoring of FDH Agencies (Agencies) and provides funding to support the recruitment and retention of a qualified childcare workforce. As part of Alberta government’s commitment to support early childhood educators (ECEs), the Ministry provides funding for professional development and training opportunities to eligible ECEs, including FDH Educators and Agency Consultants. The Ministry is seeking Proposals from Proponent(s) to lead the launch and delivery of four competency learning modules through the provision of an online learning management system (LMS), while also administering Compensation for the Agency Consultants who participate in the training.
