• The Ministry is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and deliver a child sexual abuse material (CSAM) categorization software (Software) with the ability to accurately identify and categorize child sexual abuse materials in various digital formats to be used by the Ontario Provincial Police (“OPP”), Child Sexual Exploitation Unit. The OPP also requires training, maintenance and support, as further described below.
  The Software will be hosted within OPP on-premises servers.
• Scope of Work
  The OPP requires digital categorization software to categorize child sexual abuse images and /or videos for investigative purposes. The investigation of online child sexual offences often involves seizing computers and devices that offenders use to commit crimes against children. These offenders typically collect vast amounts of CSAM that provide insight into their offender typology. Effective categorization of this material is crucial for identifying victims and ensuring proper sentencing in court.
