Complete all accessibility upgrades throughout the building and site, including selective demolition of existing finishes and components; construction of new accessible paths of travel; modifications to entrances, stairs, and washrooms; concrete repair, resurfacing, and new exterior concrete paving; installation of new handrails, guards, and stair components; resilient flooring replacement; painting of affected areas; installation of new accessibility signage and washroom accessories; supply and installation of a new wheelchair lift; and electrical work including new wiring, devices, conduit, intercom connections, and upgrades required to support new accessibility equipment. Work must include full protection of heritage elements, installation of temporary barriers and enclosures, coordination of phased work to maintain building operations, compliance with all safety and environmental requirements, and completion of all required submittals, inspections, commissioning, and closeout documentation.
