Description

Public Health Ontario (PHO) has a requirement for the provision of external audit services. PHO’s Audit, Finance & Risk Standing Committee (AFRSC), under the Board of Directors, is conducting this RFB process to select a Vendor to independently and objectively conduct an annual audit of Public Health Ontario and express opinions on whether the:
1) Financial statements prepared by management are true and fair in all material respects; and
2) Financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with an applicable financial reporting framework, such as the Canadian public sector accounting standards.
The appointed Vendor will also be responsible for undertaking audits and providing consultation regarding Public Health Ontario’s accounting and related issues.
PHO is seeking to establish a contract with one (1) Vendor for the supply of these services. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five years, providing an external audit opinion for the fiscal years ending March 31, 2026 through March 31, 2030.
