REQUEST FOR CONTRACTOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
RFPQ 25-006
HIGHWAY 560 AND RR283, RR284 INTERSECTIONS GRADING, CULVERT INSTALLATION, GRANULAR BASE COURSE, CONCRETE WORK, ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT (EPS), TRAFFIC SIGNALS, SIGNAGE & OTHER WORK

Rocky View County (County) is working in partnership with Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) to upgrade and signalize two intersections along Highway 560 (Glenmore Trail). The County will be administering the Contract for the Work. These intersection upgrades are located at Range Road 284 and Range Road 283, one and two miles east of the City of Calgary limits (100th Street), respectively. The work will consist of adding appropriate acceleration and deceleration lanes, concrete islands, full signalization, and street lighting. These upgrades are required to provide safe passage for all commuters in the area. The Work will be broken up into two schedules, Schedule ‘A’ – Highway 560:02 & Range Road 284, and Schedule ‘B’ Highway 560:02 & Range Road 283. Sedulous Engineering Inc. (Sedulous) was the successful proponent selected to design, tender, and oversee the delivery of the Project on behalf of the County. PURPOSE

The County is requesting applications for the Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the:
GRADING, CULVERT INSTALLATION, GRANULAR BASE COURSE, CONCRETE WORK, ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT, TRAFFIC SIGNALS, SIGNAGE, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, AND OTHER WORK.
