Description

BC Hydro is issuing RFP 22301- Supply of Remotely Operable Distribution Switchgear. BC Hydro intends to establish agreements with qualified suppliers who have proven experience in designing, manufacturing, and delivering remotely operable distribution switchgear(s) similar in size and nature to the requirements contemplated under this RFP, compliant with the IEEE standards referenced in the specifications, and for clients similar in size and complexity to BC Hydro. The objective is to ensure the supply of Distribution Switchgear to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of electricity to homes and businesses across the province.

The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (7) years, which may be extended for up to (10) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (17) years.
