Northern Health maintains a range of housing across the region for health care staff that are working in the region, either on a temporary basis, or are moving to the community and require temporary housing. The intent of providing housing is to ensure health care staff have a safe, comfortable, and modern accommodation experience after providing health care services to the community.

Northern Health is seeking expressions of interest from Proponents of Multiunit Buildings for the provision of housing and housing related services in Prince Rupert.

The maximum annual budget will correspond to the market rate in the community for the provision of housing and housing-related services. The desired start date for occupancy is February 1, 2026, though a later start date, or gradual acquisition of units may be negotiated. The initial term of the Residential Tenancy Agreement will be one year.
