Description

This negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation from MMC to Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Electrophysiology (EP) Consumables, for a contract term of three (3) years with an option to extend for one additional period of two (2) years. Proposals involving capital expenditures for the Electrophysiology Laboratory are outside the scope of this request.


This RFP process will be conducted in two distinct stages:
Stage 1: Leveraging the Economy of Scale
Stage 2: Addressing Purchaser Specific Needs


Proponents who successfully pass the First Stage Process will have the opportunity to enter into an Agreement with MMC for the duration of the Term (Article 1.10.2) and will then be eligible to participate in the Second Stage Process which may be conducted on behalf of Potential Purchasers, who may include:
-All MMC Customers
-Publicly funded health care organizations
-All other publicly funded organizations

Subject to the terms of the RFP, it is intended that each Potential Purchaser will have the right to agree to participate as a Purchaser under an Agreement with a Qualified Proponent as an outcome of the Second Stage Process. It is possible that not every Potential Purchaser will choose to do so. As such, there is no guarantee that every Potential Purchaser will proceed with the Second Stage. During the Second Stage, the Potential Purchaser may negotiate specific volume commitments in exchange for rebates and other value-added offerings. To support this process, Proponents will be asked to submit purchaser-specific value-add proposals with their proposal submission.

Proponents must be able to meet or exceed all the requirements of this RFP for a Purchaser-by-Purchaser Award by Category, for the following:

Cardiac Ablation Products and Accessories
EP Access - Introducers and Transseptal Needles
EP Diagnostic Catheters and Accessories
EP Proprietary Mapping Systems and Accessories
Proprietary Intracardiac Echocardiography
