Description

Tenders shall be submitted by completing this document and placing it in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the outside "East Royalty Park – Maintenance Shed Restoration; Attention: Purchasing Officer; Finance Department, 199 Queen Street, 1st Floor, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4B7", and must be received by the Purchasing Officer, before 2:00:00 pm local time on November 27, 2025. It is the responsibility of the bidder to deliver the sealed tender to Finance Department, 199 Queen Street, 1st Floor, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4B7 before the time indicated. Late Tenders will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidders.

The work of this project is comprised of the renovation of the existing maintenance shed located at the East Royalty Park. The construction of this project will include but is not necessarily limited to:
1) Removal of existing asphalt shingles and supply & install new standing seam metal roofing, complete with all trims, underlayment, ridges and flashings to make a complete waterproof system. Replace damaged roof sheathing as needed.
2) Removal of existing wood siding and supply & install new vinyl siding including air barrier & all trims & vents. Replace damaged plywood sheathing as required.
3) Removal of existing overhead door and supply & install new 9’w x 7’h overhead door in same location.
4) Removal of existing door and frame & supply new 3’-0 x 6’-8” hollow metal door and frame in same location complete with commercial grade locking door hardware.
5) Painting of existing facia, soffit & electrical box cover.
6) Remove & replace existing exterior wall pack light.
7) Other works as indicated

Bidders are encouraged to participate in a site visit on the specified date and review the site. The site visit will take place at 11:00 AM on November 20, 2025, at East Royalty Park in Charlottetown (East end of Bonnie Blink Drive). Each Bidder is responsible to determine the extent of work involved.
