Description

The Village of Zeballos (“Village”) is seeking proposals from consulting firm(s) that will provide all professionally qualified personnel as well as all support staff and resources necessary to effectively practice in the Province of BC (“Proponents”) in response to this request for proposals (“RFP”) for engineering consulting services, as needed on a time-to-time basis, for a period of two (2) years.

While working with a limited budget, the Village may require the assistance of an engineering firm that is experienced in and capable of providing services appropriate for municipal projects, such as the following typical services:

a) site review and preliminary investigation;
b) general design services (incl. design drawings, cost estimates);
c) preparing procurement documents (eg. MMCD, CCDC);
d) administering procurement processes;
e) assisting with contract preparation;
f) contract administration (e.g., supervising contractor performance, quantity verification, payment certification, reviewing schedules and progress of work)
g) field inspection;
h) advice on general engineering matters; and
i) all other services required in relation to the foregoing.
