All elevator devices must meet the requirements of the Provincial Safety Code for elevating devices, which incorporates the Canadian Standards Association and other national codes such as CSA E44, Chapter E-6 Elevators and Lifts Act, New Brunswick Regulation 2014-147 under the Elevators and Lifts Act (O.C. 2014-373), and New Brunswick Regulation 84-181 under the Elevators under Lifts Act (O.C. 84-613)
