Description

Notice is hereby given by the BC Assessment Authority (BC Assessment) of its intent to contract with with Quest Software Canada Inc. for the renewal of maintenance and support for TOAD for Oracle and related modules.

The fee for these services is not expected to exceed $55,000 over three years.

BC Assessment has chosen not to call for vendor proposals at this time for the following reason:

• TOAD for Oracle is the established enterprise tool for Oracle database administration and development at BC Assessment.
• Maintenance and updates are proprietary and available only through Quest Software.
• Equivalent products do not offer comparable integration, functionality, or administrative efficiency within BC Assessment’s existing Oracle environments.
• Renewal ensures continued security patching, Oracle version compatibility, and uninterrupted database operations.
