Summary Details
The BCSC is the independent provincial government agency responsible for regulating capital markets in through the administration of the Securities Act. Our mission is to protect and promote the public interest by fostering:

• A securities market that is fair and warrants public confidence
• A dynamic and competitive securities industry that provides investment opportunities and access to capital
• This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is issued by the BCSC for the provision of Financial Data Services as further detailed in Appendix A (Scope details).
  
  The purpose of the RFP is to procure a comprehensive data and analytics service solution that supports the Commission’s evolving needs in data sourcing, integration, and analysis (the “Service”). The Service is expected to encompass financial data, as well as other relevant datasets, tools, and capabilities that enhance the Commission’s regulatory, market surveillance, policy functions, and mandate responsibilities. The Service may also include associated professional services, training, technical support, and solution enhancements to ensure adaptability to changing regulatory and market conditions.
