• Scope of Work
  The East Road at Fort Henry National Historic site is a key access road to the Fort for staff, deliveries, commercial vendors and maintenance and remains in operation day and night throughout the year. Visitors also use the road to access the view of the St. Lawrence and adjacent picnic areas. This 600 m (4034 m2 ) section of road has experienced extensive damage because of improper drainage coming off the North/West facing slope. This has resulted in washouts, potholes, cracks and overburdened sand deposits along the South facing edge.
  St. Lawerence Parks Commission would like to procure the services of a construction/paving company to complete the re-paving of Phase 1 of the East Road. This work will include installation of all sediment and erosion control measures, full and partial depth asphalt pulverization and asphalt reinstatement and measures to correct long standing drainage issues
