To support these initiatives, Ontario Health requires approximately ninety (90) enterprise user licenses, each including full read, write, and administrative functionality. Of these,
approximately five (5) licenses will be designated administrators. In addition, the solution must support approximately two hundred (200) authenticated read-only users (unlicensed viewers) who
can log in through Ontario Health’s existing SSO to ensure secure access and auditability. Read-only users must not consume enterprise license seats. This tool will be essential for tracking
product dependencies, facilitating prioritization, and ensuring alignment among various initiatives. Currently, our programs and products face challenges in managing dependencies and in fully
leveraging reusable templates, impacting structured planning and resource optimization.
Single Sign-On (SSO): Ontario Health requires that all licensed and read-only users authenticate via its existing enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) environment. The solution should integrate with
Ontario Health’s SSO, which is based on Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and supports industry standards such as SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0. The SSO integration should allow both
enterprise license holders (read/write/admin) and authenticated read-only viewers (~200 users) to access the system securely without requiring separate credentials.
The selected Road Mapping Tool will enhance our program and product management capabilities, providing strategic insights that align with Ontario Health’s goals. We seek a Software as a
Service (SaaS) solution that meets our requirements with robust, out-of-the-box functionality, supporting our vision of a coordinated, patient-centered health care system. By improving
visibility into product interdependencies and strengthening prioritization processes, this tool will help us achieve a streamlined approach to health care delivery, ultimately benefiting
Ontarians and their communities.
