Notice of Intent to Award a Contract

Notice is hereby given that the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Fricia Construction Inc. (the “Contractor”) for the following:

• Engineer Park - Boardwalk
• The contract will be until the completion of the deliverables.
  
  Background
  
  RFP 1220-2024-3473 – New Neighbourhood Park – Construction of Engineer Park was awarded to Fricia Construction Inc. The boardwalk was not part of the scope.
  
  Scope of Services or Specifications - Boardwalk Phase, Engineer Park Project
  
  The contractor is responsible for supplying and installing the boardwalk connection and associated works.
  
  The main scope includes, but is not limited to, the following items:
  
  1. Mobilization, construction fencing, and demobilization
  2. Demolition, excavation, and offsite disposal
  3. Supply and installation of light-duty gravel surface
  4. Supply and installation of split rail fence
  5. Supply and installation of boardwalk
