Description

British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) invites Proposals for the following:
RFP Title: Crane & Hoist Replacement, Upgrade, Inspection and Maintenance
RFP Number: 21793

The specific scope of Services to be performed by Supplier will be set out in the applicable Work Orders. Suppliers may be required to perform any and all types of Services related to bridge and gantry cranes, fixed drum hoists, overhead cranes and monorails including, without limitation, the following:
• Replacement of Cranes/Hoists;
• Upgrade and Refurbishment of the Cranes/Hoists;
• Crane/Hoist Inspection Services;
• Crane/Hoist Maintenance Services; and,
• Crane Critical Lift and Engineered Lift Support Services.

Additional services that may be required from the Supplier include:
• Modify, create or revise drawings on behalf of BC Hydro using BC Hydro Engineering Standards and procedures as in accordance with BC Hydro Drafting Standards;
• Supply hard copies and electronic PDF copies of Operating and Maintenance manuals to BC Hydro’s operating and maintenance personne

OUT OF SCOPE:
The following items associated with the work will be performed or provided by others and are excluded from the work:
• Provision of crane operators for operation and testing.
• Isolation and lock-out of cranes, hoists and lifting equipment for the purposes of safe inspection.
