Description

BC Timber Sales is seeking to engage the services of a forestry consultant whose Team of qualified personnel will conduct a comprehensive analysis of timber supply within all Operating Areas of the British Columbia Timber Sales (BCTS) Kootenay Business Area (TKO).
The primary analysis will include Current Available Mature Merchantable (CMM) in BCTS Operating Areas as compared to the entire Management Unit and will provide short, mid, and long-term timber supply projections, considering operational spatial harvest sequences. This project will require that Climate Change Adaptability and Fire Risk modelling be integrated into harvest availability, sequencing and timing.
The intention of this RFP is to award a 3-year “multi-year” contract, with an option for two additional 1-year renewals
