Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City’s proposed compost site water servicing (the ‘Project’), that focuses on extending a 150mm water service into the existing compost site to provide both domestic water and fire protection to the compost site. The Project is located within the City of Merritt and will upgrade the existing water service to a 150mm water service, by a new connection to the existing watermain on Airport Way.

The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:

• The Work may commence anytime on or after: July 2, 2025
• Substantial Performance of the Work: must be achieved no later than September 30, 2025
• Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 20 calendar days following Substantial Performance.
