Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with Fluidit OY for the provision of purchasing a monthly subscription of the Fluidit Heat hydraulic
modeling software.
SCOPE: The Neighbourhood Energy Utility (NEU) is intending to purchase a monthly subscription of the Fluidit Heat hydraulic modeling software, for $1,000 per month for 12 months. With NEU’s
planned growth and increasingly complex and larger network with multiple nodes and generation facilities, there is a need to bring the modeling in house. With in-house hydraulic and thermal
modeling, NEU can simulate various scenarios to better inform Planning, Engineering and Operational decisions.
Direct Award: NEU has access to the latest model built by a consultant using the Fluidit Heat software from previously completed hydraulics studies. Procuring the Fluidit Heat software will
allow a seamless transition to in-house modeling, without having to re-build and re-validate the model in another software which would require significantly more resources. Further, having the
same basis model with the Consulting team will allow continuity and consistency.
Term: 1 Year
Value: $12,000.00 CAD
Anyone wishing to request more information and/or has any questions with regard to this NOITC may use the Q&A Board of the event on the City of Vancouver supplier portal prior to the
closing date and time.
