The City will NOT accept bids submitted in a printed format.

Electronic Bid Submission:

(a) Bids shall be submitted through the City of Moncton"s "Bids&Tenders" electronic bidding platform @ http://moncton.bidsandtenders.ca prior to the official Closing Date and Time specified herein.

(b) A "Vendor Account" must be created in order to register as an official "Plan Taker" for this bidding opportunity, and submit an electronic bid response.

(c) Detailed instructions on how to create a "Vendor Account" and submit an electronic bid are available through the City of Moncton"s website @ http://www.moncton.ca/bidding-opportunities.

OVERVIEW:

The work required under the scope of this contract consists generally of reconstructing approximately 1,355 meters of trail with new crushed rock and tailings within the Irishtown Nature Park (Bouctouche Line Trail), Mapleton Park (Floodplain Trail and Riparian Trail), and Centennial Park (Muskrat Trail). The contract includes, but is not limited, to the removal of existing tailings, the addition of crushed rock and tailings, as well as topsoil and hydroseed on most sections of the trails.
Culverts, retaining walls, benches and handrails must also be installed.

The proposed start date for the project is JUNE 2, 2025 with completion to be achieved by AUGUST 5, 2025.
