Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Streetsville Bus Garage Roof Rehabilitation

Metrolinx is issuing this call for Tenders to retain the services that includes but is not limited to the removal/demolition of the existing roof systems and installation of new green roof system and 2-ply modified bitumen membrane and supporting system elements.
The work will involve the rehabilitation of roof assets including architectural, mechanical and electrical components.

ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on May 2, 2025.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MetrolinxMERX EBS.
Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using Metrolinx MERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.


Only the Submissions of qualified Bidders will be considered for acceptance by Metrolinx.
In order to be considered qualified, the Bidder shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of Metrolinx in the sole discretion of Metrolinx, that the Bidder has:

• The Bidder shall have satisfactorily completed three (3) contracts for work similar in scope, magnitude and complexity as "the Work of this Contract"; "; and
• The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor, shall have satisfactorily completed two (2) projects involving Roofing Work of similar value, size and complexity to “the roofing Work of this Contract”. The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor must be a member of Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) and/or Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association (OICRA)
• The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor, shall have satisfactorily completed two (2) projects involving Demolition work of similar value, size and complexity to “the Demolition Work of this Contract”;
• The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor, shall have satisfactorily completed two (2) projects involving Mechanical Work of similar value, size and complexity to the Mechanical Work of this Contract”;
• The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor, shall have satisfactorily completed two (2) projects involving Structural Work of similar value, size and complexity to the Structural Work of this Contract”;
• The Bidder, or its designated Subcontractor, shall have satisfactorily completed two (2) projects involving Electrical Work of similar value, size and complexity to the Electrical Work of this Contract”;
• the bidder and its sub-vendors achieved at least 1 of the following safety requirements:
• COR™ Certified status with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA); or
• ISO 45001 certification; or
• Out-of-Province COR™ Reciprocity (for bidding purposes only) through IHSA. For more information on COR™ Reciprocity please reference the IHSA website at https://www.ihsa.ca.
• 
  Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
